3. PRODUCT TESTING AND CONCLUSION
3.1 Testing
The product was tested at this stage. To find out if this futuristic car device could withstand a large amount of water without getting faulty, my partner, accompanied with 4 other friends and myself, decided to splash pails of water on the same car at different periods of time of the day.
Firstly, we designed one sensor to only read and grant access to 6 of our thumb prints. Secondly, each of the 5 girls had 3pails of water prepared, while the 6th girl did the time counting and recording. Then, we carried out our first test by splashing pails of water at the sensor of the car one after another at a 60-second interval. After every splash, we would test the sensor by placing one of our thumbs onto the sensor to check if it still works well.
